Our company has been providing stakeholders in the residential housing market consulting services in engineering, architectural design, and project management since 2003.

Originally catering exclusively to the needs of homebuilders and small residential developers, RE+D has expanded its core business to include homeowners and residential associations in order to meet growing demand for our professional services on renovations, additions, and sitework for existing housing.

In addition to our core services, RE+D has taken great strides to stay at the forefront of the sustainable design and green building wave, and it counts among its honors an affiliation with the USGBC's LEED Program (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

Glenn Smith founded RE+D after a more than a decade of engineering and design management experience with some of the nation's most noteworthy firms.

Glenn is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Connecticut and holds degrees from Lehigh University and Cal-Berkeley. He has attained "Accredited Professional" status from the US Green Building Council.

In addition, Glenn spent seventeen years on the Ridgefield Zoning Board of Appeals, including five as its Chairman, and is a member of the Ridgefield Library's Green Advisory Committee.
